Thanks Britt-Arnhild I look forward to it growing too.It has the most amazing flowers, like blue bird head with an orange beak.My South African friend tells me how big they grow in her native South Africa.Fifteen feet wide shrubs with loads of flowers.
Nabeel,You should try a cast iron plant, or a peace lilly.They are office friendly plants which are pleasant to look at :)
Hi Snappy, this bird of paradise will take a few years to flower Mine flowered 1 bloom for the first time last winter a few years old and this year I have 4 flowers in bud waiting to open.when it flowers ill take a photo..
Hi Jeanette,Thanks for dropping by.I know the Bird of Paradise is a long term project trying to induce it to flower.
It was even smaller when i bought it in a bright box with a lovely photo of it!Will be good to see yours flowering.
