Autumn Mosaic

"Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting and autumn a mosaic of them all. " ~Stanley Horowitz

I collected some things from the garden for an autumn mosaic of whats in the garden in October.
Dandelion flowers, some gorgeous blackberries, mushrooms growing in the grass, and leaves from the silver birch tree...
Inspired by Nature girl and her live displays outside her house.

It's a beautiful mosaic. The yellows and browns are very pleasing with the blackberries in the middle. It looks even better when you click on the photo to enlarge it.

This is really pretty David. Mmmm, the blackberries look good. Ours are long gone.
Sallyanne is right..you are a mad gardener! But aren't we all? :)
My Collinsia/Monarda/whatever seed heads are all dried up now. I'm hoping they'll sew themselves next Spring. I dind't save any seeds. I think they may have all fallen. I still have some seeds of the mix they were in though.
Thanks for replying to my comments lower down.

Oh this looks really NICE and a good idea! Just thinking having a collage of the important things you have around you and then showing them on your blog. Maybe one day...
