Magpie

The Elusive magpie who has been chattering all day perches on the fir trees behind the hedges.I love these birds, despite their bad reputation. He seems to be solitary, chattering, and flying to the tree tops to admire the misty, cold view.
Are Magpies Newcastle united supporters? The football team is nicknamed after them because of the black and white shirts.
Ha way the Magpie!

Magpies visit my garden too and yes, they do make a lot of noise. I've no idea if they're keen on footie or not. ;-)

Hi Snappy.
Long time no see :-) How are you.

Like you I am also fond of magpies, theough I don't like it when they fight away all smaller birds from my feeder.

Wow, that magpie is pretty! I know they are native to some areas in the US, but I've never seen one.

They are well represented here in the Uk Lisa. They are much maligned though as they steal other birds eggs.I think they are Handsome birds with their coloured feathers and long tails.
