"In my garden there is a large place for sentiment. My garden of flowers is also my garden of thoughts and dreams. The thoughts grow as freely as the flowers, and the dreams are as beautiful." (~Abram L. Urban)

This one is cute too!
This is one from Selby. My grandad and nan had a small backyard. There were six gnomes. My sister took the bigger ones.I got the three photographed.I could not bear somebody moving into the house and destroying them.
Before we left Nan's house for the last time i tidied it up.Trimmed the plants, redid all the planters, swept the stone yard, and made it look gorgeous.
A young couple bought Nans house soon after. On a summers evening or sunday morning they can open the backdoor, sit on the step, and look at the small garden.
My succulent container garden came from here.To remember them i took some succulents to plant a memorial garden.
The red bowl is full of their succulents including the now flowering house leeks.
