Welcome back, I am starting a collection of orchids in my garden so far with mix results, they can be a little fussy about their location.

Those look like the ladyslipper orchids that grow wild up here! I have a yellow one in my garden, and a pink and white "Showy Ladyslipper Orchid" that I bought last fall...hope it comes up this year!

Rusty,It started with serendipity with a patients relative bringing in an orchid.I was in awe and photographed it.Once back home I began to google Orchids and soon I was entranced. What a mad collection of plants. The various sizes, shapes, habitats.Surely their must be an orchid for everyone..
Lisa, hope you can photograph the Ladysslipper orchids for me.I love that design of orchid and the petals look like comfortable ladys slippers.Good luck with growing them.I have bought some Orchid bulbs, fingers crossed!!
