Perfect Light

The kitchen Hyacinths continue to flower and give sweet balmy scent when you walk in there. The light yesterday was perfect to illuminate the flowers petals and the green chlorophyll laden leaves..
The snow is melting away slowly.I will try to post more often as the weather warms up.
Hopefully the spring bulbs will flower soon to give me more photos from my garden.

Do you put your Hyacinth bulbs in soil to force them? I tried the rocks and water method and I am not having very good luck with it. As you may see from a posting of mine. I was wondering the best way to do it.
Thanks,
Lona

Fantastic photo! Sometimes we hardly appreciate a flower's true beauty until we see it really close up.

That is a very pretty picture! Last year I didn't take many photos of my flowers - I didn't do much blogging during summer and didn't have anything to do with flower pictures. Now I can't wait until spring to start taking pictures and posting them. Good luck with yours - VW
