You're going to get lots of interesting birds with that type of feeder. I bought one specifically to attract woodpeckers. I got two different kinds plus other kinds of birds. I've become quite the birdwatcher now. I have two different types of birdfeeders (different birds prefer different types of feeders) and a ground feeding station that is also shared by the squirrels. Both of my hanging birdfeeders are "squirrel proof".
