How cool! He looks all armored, like a little bristly tank. :)
Im glad i am much bigger than him.He was quite ferocious looking, like a red Samurai spider in all the armour.Most of our garden spiders are long legged and hunt in the grass and soil..He is above all that hanging around, and spinning a web to catch flies.

Becky the spider took me about twenty goes to capture it.He just looked at me with his compound eyes grinning, crazy man with a camera.The wind kept blowing the web from side to side, moving the spider out of shot.This one worked because the light has just caught the web, and the focus is on the jewelled spider.Never seen one with those colours.But i have never got that close to one before.Inches from him..I dont like spiders.Arachnophobia...
