Beautiful sunrise, "red sky in the morning shepherds warning" did it apply snappy?

Unbelievable colors! I wish I could've seen it. Lucky you.
I've posted a couple of close-ups of my collinsia bicolor which I think is the same as your Monarda Lombada. Have a look and see what you think. You can find it on Dave's garden site. I'm really puzzled by our little mystery. This plant is so unusual. Not many people seem to know much about it. I think we have the same plant but with 2 different names :) My seed mix packet lists collinsia among the other seeds in the mix.
