Love the word Nanna!
Wonder what other people call this prestigious family royalty!

My nana (different spelling) was called Elizabeth Ellen, or Dolly for short. My middle name is Elizabeth and one of our geese was called Dolly!

Snappy, I have also bluebells in the garden. Marion told me, that my one are not the same that this one you have in your woods.

Blackswamp girl it is an image of spring here that has become symbolic. The bluebell carpeted woods. My nan had the picture of a stone cottage in the bluebell woods because of where she lived in pickering growing up...
Mrs Nesbitt my Nanna was a "Yorkshire lass through and through" as she said.Sallyannes grandkids call her "Nanna" so maybe its Yorkshire for grandmother.Thats what i called her all her life so its stuck..
Sigrun I think there are different varieties. The one in the photo are Hyacinthoides Non Scripta. There are spanish ones and italian ones too. There are scottish campaunulas called bluebells too...It is a picture swiped from Google images too..
Maria it is a real photograph, the bluebells spread and have naturalised beneath tree canopys. They appear just before the leaves regrow on the tree's.Perfect timing i think.
