"In my garden there is a large place for sentiment. My garden of flowers is also my garden of thoughts and dreams. The thoughts grow as freely as the flowers, and the dreams are as beautiful." (~Abram L. Urban)
HAHAHA! I'm sure she'll enjoy it! I could submit a "Wood Tick Centerfold", but I doubt I'd have any takers!
LOL! My other two were obviously already paired up, so I'll check to see whether I have any more single slugs for him/her tonight... ;) The way they seem to love my yard, I bet I do!
Lisa I had woodlice too but i didnt think they were sexy enough... Blackswamp girl maybe we could start a slug dating Agency. This one was hiding on my stone sign with "welcome to our garden".The slugs have dined well over the past two years on tender young plants and seedlings .Thanks they say.I'm in the modern Slugs Gastronomy guide to West Yorkshire.
Oh Snappy, you are a bad boy! I hate slugs and snails more than each other thing on the world. Must kill them allways, before they kill my plants!Sigrun
Your garden in Germany is also on the slugs tour of tasty gardens. You serve Hosta's mmm with so many varieties.I threw the slugs i found over the fence. And a snail.Im too nice to kill them unless they have eaten my Dahlia!! I have hundreds of slugs Sigrun. One night I went out with a torch and bucket of salt water.I caught about sixty fat slugs, and there were loads more too....they are not photogenic at all.
Oh yippee! Slugs!joking!!My kids were horrible to snails and slugs when they were little. They threw them into the street and watched them get run over by cars. Made me shiver.. ech!I found a huge fat one today, but I left it where it was, in the mini-meadow. I figure it might turn into bird food out there.
Salix tree my slugs stay hidden during the day.The bird feeders mean lots of hungary birds visit the garden.. Im too squeamish to kill them.I feel they are a pain, but they are natural things that must exist for some reason.Dont know why yet...
