I know ! I had one in the garage and it opened up with three green sprouts and all summer getting larger! I have it in the sun now so who knows what will happen around Xmas!I thought they stayed dormant when put into a dark place!!
Naturegirl this Amaryllis flowered late last year.I planted it in October, so its come out two months early.I got it from Malton in north yorkshire from my Nanna's niece..Ferrari red, the flower is amazing like a translucent red tent.I will put it on the windowsill for winter colour.
