I love columbine (aquilegia). I can't wait to see yours bloom.
Its getting close the First Bloom of the Aquilegia.The amazing thing for me is seeing the green flower buds turn the purple colour.I will post a photo today.I love them too, for the flowers shape, and the plant itself.
Even Shakespeare was charmed by Columbines.They are part of our gardening history.
