Au Revoir post
I am moving into a new flat on monday, and alas as yet it does not have internet. As soon as it does I will be back online commenting and growing things...
Just remember that the earth heals, and growing plants and flowers soothes the soul..
Au Revoir means see you soon in French.I hope to be posting again in the next few weeks, renewing acquaintences, and generally spreading the healing vibes..
It will be from Wakefield...will write more to those who want to know why im moving their on my own..
18 months on here have flown by, and with regular posting I can get regular readers.
To share the agony and ecstasy that is gardening. From the very big estates to the small container gardens.
I hope to see you all very soon, hope your gardens grow well and that you have a happy Xmas with your family and friends.
The Snappy gardener will return soon I promise.. :))

Snappy,
Sorry to hear you won't be posting for a while. Even though I've slacked off terribly on my own blog (mostly due to laziness and general muddy-headedness), your blog is one that I've continued to check in on so I know I'll miss your posts.
I hope the Wakefield move is a positive one for you, even if it doesn't seem to be so right now. And I hope you can somehow keep your hands in the dirt, as I know you won't be happy without something growing around you.
Please let me know if you return to the blog or start a new one.
Best wishes for the holidays and the new year and the new start in Wakefield!
Claire
Oh, I hope things go well for you. Your post sounds bittersweet...moving on with a new life ahead, yet keeping positive about gardening (no matter what kind) and all the healing and joy that it brings. I will miss you, my new blogger friend, and hope that things go well for you. I will look forward to your first post in the new year some time.
Blessings and love,
Flora
I wish you all the best in your new home. I hope you get internet access quickly so we can hear all about it.

I think you may just need a few cyberhugs here... (((Snappy))) Whatever the reason for your move, I hope that it turns out to be a positive experience for you--and of course that you find a way to get back to digging in the dirt soon. I know that has gotten me through many a rough time in life, myself.
Oh my! I wish you luck, and to have a Happy Holiday season. I'll miss you too, hoping you will return to blogging swiftly!
I lived in a New York city apartment for 6 years, and my place looked like a jungle with all the plants, and the fire escape was crammed with flowers and herbs. So, I know you will keep on growing things, even in a flat!
*hugs* to you, and see you soon.
Oh Snappy, I did not expect you to move that fast! All the best for you, merry Christmas and a happy, blooming new year!
I am looking forward to your next posts and I hope internet at your new flat will be installed very soon!
Snappy, good luck by mooving in a new flat! And if you need some seeds, let me know!

Hi snappy, sorry if your moving is not of your choice, I sure hope you manage to find somewhere to do some gardening, if theres no room where you're moving too go look for an allotment snappy as they are not only great for gardening but also for making new friends. Please let me know when you get back to blogging.Bob.

hi snappy i just wanted to leave a message hope you are happy in your new home
I have been on a trip and it was a shock to return to see this post. I do hope things are going well for you and that you will be back soon on your blog. And Salix is correct: a flat is not the end of gardening. I lived on a third floor walk-up for awhile, and had tons of plants indoors, on the fire-escape, and in tubs in the driveway. You will find a way to garden, as it is part of you. We miss you! Hope you are soon to return.
I haven't been thinking about gardening much this winter, but the seed catalogs have been arriving........starting to spark my interest, and I just did my first post in months and now checking out what other gardeners have been up to. Hope your move went well. Where abouts is Wakefield? Would love to see some photos of the area. I am reading a Britain travel book called Notes From a Small Island by Bill Bryson. Have you heard of it?
I have been so busy I hadn’t time to check on some of my favorite blogs. Your’s in one of them and I am sorry to have arrived so late. I, like everyone hope you will return to pick up your blog once again. Either way you have made a difference and I wish you the best.
Snappy, just a note at the end of February to say that you're still missed... and that I hope the new place is treating you well. :)
