Little Jewels, rain drops caught in a spiders web at the base of the coal shed. The light highlights them..
The Busy lizzie flower catching the november sun in its red petals.
I have eight busy lizzies over wintering.I love the colour of these. Will take cuttings tomorrow..
More November gold, this was my attempt to take a hosta off shoot for my sister. She declined though saying she did not like a plant that died back over the winter beneath the soil.I think its a magical quality.Like a phoenix from golden ashes and rising in the spring fresh and green!!

I like the colour of the Busy Lizzie Snappy.
You have your own spider, too, I see! (Or at least a spiderweb.) And I agree with you on the magic of getting to see the reemergence of plants in the spring. I think your sister is missing out a bit!
More beautiful images! I tried to post a couple days ago, but the blog was down. Great additions since I last visited.
Love the raindrops. Would love them to fall here in Oz. The earth is dry and much in need of 'liquid jewels' Great photo.
The itsy bitsy spider climbed up the water spout!
Down came the rain and
w a s h e d
the spider out.
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain,
and the itsy bitsy spider
climbed up the spout again!
The best part of spring is watching Mother Earth awaken. I agree with Blackswamp Girl (Great name, by the way), your sister IS missing out on a lot....
I suppose it is a bit of work to cut back the dead leaves in autumn, but to see the new growth in spring is such a magical experience. I can hardly imagine missing out on that.
Thanks UK bob Busy lizzies are some of my fav plants to grow from seed...
Blackswamp girl, glad your spider is Staying Alive in the window pane.Hostas arising from the bare earth is a good sign of spring.
Kristen,I hope you have better luck posting comments.Glad you dropped by..
Whisperwings,I spent a year in Australia, and in the centre water is life.Glad you liked the photo. It does look like diamonds..
Becky,I think the spider has been washed away,he could have been hiding in the coal shed..
MamaFranjos that is a cool name too.Jawsy is missing out on the beauty of hostas rising up.She has some green fingers but not as much as me..
