The other colour in the house is from this lovely Amaryllis, bought from last years Autumn flower show.This is the second flower spike to grow and has four flowers on it.
I think of Strawberrys and Cream when I see it.I do like the big blooms, on my coffee table..

Hi Lesley, the secret is keeping the plants happy and not too warm!The thing that kills them most is over watering or central heating.My boiler broke so the house has no heating!the Doctor D.G.Hessayan book is full of tips for houseplant care.It may look dated but I love it!
